Constructive Criticism Stamp by PoisonTonicLX Constructive Criticism Stamp by PoisonTonicLX
Respect the artist. Give REAL constructive criticism.

I've noticed that 'criticism' is one of those words that looks like it's being spelled horribly wrong after you've written it a few times. Blurgh.

My first try at a stamp; goes along with this: [link]

I'm sure there are tons of stamps just like this one, but I wanted my own to include with my essay. Hopefully it isn't too terrible! ^^'

Might make more of these...I dunno, tho, we'll see.

Template from here: [link]

EDITED for cleanliness~! 8D

*gives constructive criticism* The red font doesn't seem to work very well with the gray backgrounds, it can strain the eye, particularly in the case of a stamp collector. (imagine a whole army of stamps done like that :saddummy:) Since the background changes from a dark shade to a lighter one, text of a certain colour can fail somewhere in between.

I think something that generates less contrast with the environment and making the text easier to be read would improve the visual appeal of the stamp.

Amen. :P
There's a big difference between debating and flaming, I find many have a difficult time differentiating between the two. I'm all up for having a healthy debate but I turn away when people start spewing insults and not bothering to back up their statement with proof. Most people went to high school, it's one of the first things you learn: statement, proof, explanation. As easy as that.
If people want to rant and insult in a childish manner... well they should do it on their own profile and not on someone's art. Want to say your opinion then use constructive criticism.
And that's why this stamp rocks because it sums up many good points in a few words. :D

Thank you very much! I want to comment on everything you said, but I would probably just write too much and take up a million years of space to say I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU JUST SAID because I talk wayyyyyy too much. (Which is probably obvious. >.>)

In any case. I agree with everything you just said; so glad to hear you agree with me, too! ;)

I agree wholeheartedly. Many artists out there would like detailed criticism, not just one worded comments or something provocative like some say on the nude modeling pictures.

Thanks for sharing your stamp with the community.

Exactly! Not to say that no one ENJOYS getting little things just to know people enjoy their work, but sometimes a nice constructive criticism is really great to get. :)

I'm glad you like it!
